Car Compass

This is mounted onto the car dashboard by a suction pad and is easily compensated using two screws. These compasses are developed specially for use in a car or boat where a more conventional one would be easily upset by the presence of so many electrical and magnetic fields. The liquid filled compass is dome shaped so that the direction can be read easily by the driver without have to stretch, as would be the case with a flat compass. Manufactured in Germany. Our Tip: We have sold these to back up car drivers following hot air balloonists and hang gliders (we also sell pocket anemometers and pocket barometer/altimeters for the benefit of those in the balloons!)
