Pocket AnemometerThe smallest wind speed indicator in the world with a diameter of 53mm.
It has four concentric scales - Beaufort, miles per hour, knots and metres per second. It has a round-the-neck lanyard to ensure it cannot get lost even when trying to measure a Force 9 gale. Manufactured in Germany there are no microchips to go wrong. The instrument will tolerate getting wet if accidentally dropped in fresh or salt water provided it is properly cleaned and dried afterwards.
Our Tip:
These are used by hang-gliders, light aircraft pilots, wind surfers and hot air balloonists as well as yachtsmen and sand yachtsmen. Athletes also use them to assess the wind speed factor for sprinting and long jump.
